Write what you know is an old adage. Jeffrey uses his struggles with intense social anxiety and the steps he took to overcome it as a backbone for the narrative.

The author begins by describing how anxiety works and the different forms it can come in. The book describes a series of daily-steps one can follow for four weeks. The book concludes with a few links to references on Anxiety.

The author's bio highlights his struggle with intense social anxiety all of his young adult life. It would have been nice to read Jeffrey's accounts of his experiences in working through Week One challenge etc, that he describes.
